Briquette sheesha charcoal made directly from coconut shells and mostly preferred for hookah but also used for grilling. Coconut is widely consumed in Asia and it's shells are used to produce charcoal for recycling purposes. After carbonization coconut shells are brought to appropriate sizes using hammer mills. Then a binding agent such as starch is mixed with charcoal as minor ingredient until it is thoroughly blended. Finally blended material is shaped into pillows which is widely used for hookah or briquettes and dried in ovens making it ready for consumers.
